Anxiety
Anxiety can feel frightening and overwhelming, as if you’re barely able to breathe. When the vice of anxiety starts to choke you, you often require help. Some degree of anxiety is common, but consistent, terrifying anxiety is unhealthy for the mind and spirit which long to be free. You are capable of breaking the pattern of anxiety, and creating healthy habits for a more joyful, peaceful mind, body, spirit connection. Balance is vital.
There it was again that
familiar fear and dread.
As the panic rose inside me
and the adrenaline only fed,
the excessive, persistent fears
that were spinning through my head.
As my stomach clenched in pain,
while my heartbeat only sped.
