Lisa Hadlock
Welcome.
My name is Lisa Hadlock, and about a decade ago, I was diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder. My life has changed significantly since then.
I am someone who has spent much of my life learning how to live alongside mental health challenges.
Over time — through experience, support, and reflection — I began to notice what truly helped me move forward. Not dramatic breakthroughs, but small, steady practices that restored a sense of agency and hope. I lost a year of my life to the darkness of depression which spurred anxiety and hopelessness. I had to fight to find a way back to health and wellness. I had to fight to find a way back to the light. I had to fight for my life.
I share this work with the intention of offering language and tools that may help others feel less alone, and more supported, in their own journeys.
Personality Pendulum is dedicated to my unwaveringly loyal husband, Darren, and our two beautiful children, Cole, and Hailey. Without your unconditional, infinite support, I never could have won this battle.
I love you. You are my heart. You are my soul. You are my everything.
I live in rural Southern Vermont with my family, and am a mountain living girl. I love the mountains! My family, my heart, my everything - Darren, Cole and Hailey. And, yes, I’ve been married to the same man for 25 years. Grateful!
