Tools & Resources

Healing often begins with what feels manageable.

The tools and practices shared here are designed to support daily life in small, accessible ways. They are not prescriptions or requirements — simply options you can explore and adapt as needed.

Tools

  • Count every achievement, no matter how small.

  • Incorporate healthy eating and daily movement, even for short durations.

  • Practice healthy sleep hygiene.

  • Prioritize self care.

  • Sit with your feelings, observe them without engaging, become familiar with them, and learn from them.

  • Spend time in nature or just outdoors even for five minutes a day.

  • Practice mindfulness.  Choose one moment of the day to just be present and enjoy that moment.  Revisit how it made you feel as you're falling asleep.

  • Try meditation or spend a few minutes of the day listening to music which relaxes and inspires you.

  • Practice gratitude.

  • Keep a journal on your bedside table.

  • Connect with family and friends.

  • Reach out to your doctor and be a strong patient advocate for yourself.

  • Consider medication if appropriate.
